Following
on from the success of our events in Spain,
France and the UK, we are happy to announce the first ever
Yahoo Developer Network (YDN) event in Scandinavia; in the city of Oslo. We are also being joined by Opera who will be talking about developing Opera Widgets on your desktop.
As you know the Yahoo! Developer Network offers Web Services and APIs for
developers to build applications and mashups.
YDN also organizes presentations in key cities with high concentration of
developers, like San Francisco, New York, Singapore,
London, Paris,...
and for the first time, Oslo!

YDN and Opera Oslo Event:
In the YDN presentation, Christian Heilmann
, international developer evangelist for YDN, will be presenting an
introduction to Yahoo’s open APIs and giving an in-depth technical talk on some
of the most popular and useful web services provided by Yahoo! such as ,YUI,
Placemaker and YQL. The presentation will be given in English.
Andreas Bovens of Opera Software's Developer Relations team will give an introduction to developing Opera Widgets for Desktop. He'll also cover debugging with Opera Dragonfly and the Opera Widgets emulator.
The evening is to be held on Thursday 3rd December at The Norwegian
School of Information Technology, NITH
